This website aims for defining and sharing objective standards for the grading of collectibles. We are collectors with a vision about computer aided grading as a second-opinion for collectors and dealers of paper money, coins and stamps.

Grading of collectibles has been a controversial subject for many years. While several organizations have published grading rules for their specific area of interest, many experienced dealers and collectors continue to grade collectibles according to their own unwritten rules. Especially with the dramatic increase of online trading through websites like eBay, many less experienced people also enter the market of buying and selling collectibles, often without being able to meet and physically show their items and discuss the quality.

Grading is all about establishing an objective decision about the quality of a collectible. The value (price) of a collectible is strongly related to its quality. The price of a collectible is negotiable, not the quality!
